Epic Trailer For Ron Howard’s IN THE HEART OF THE SEA With Chris Hemsworth And Cillian Murphy

Ron Howard’s In The Heart Of The Sea looks like a great, old fashioned movie. The type of adventure film Hollywood made before CGI and superheroes. Admittedly, this does appear to feature quite a lot of CGI, but Howard looks to be putting characterisation at the heart of this tale – and he’s got a great cast to anchor it – with Chris Hemsworth and Cillian Murphy in lead roles.

Hemsworth seems to be Howard’s new cinematic muse, moving into territory previously held by Michael Keaton, Tom Hanks and Russell Crowe. That’s good company to be in – and Hemsworth belongs there.

In the Heart of the Sea is based on Nathaniel Philbrick’s best-selling book about the dramatic true journey of the Essex – a tale that inspired Herman Melville’s Moby Dick.

In the Heart of the Sea opens in UK cinemas ON 13 March 2015.
