Trailer: RED NOTICE Starring Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot & Ryan Reynolds Looks Terrible
Red Notice looks terrible. It would seem to be more soulless CGI infused action for Dwayne Johnson and another monumentally annoying turn from Ryan Reynolds. It’s yet another bickering buddy movie for the stars – which they have both repeatedly starred-in opposite different onscreen partners.
Allegedly written and directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, Red Notice looks like about 10 other movies have been loaded into a simulator and this came out the other end. Most of those movies are better than Red Notice – some of them are likely not. I also see Johnson is trying to riff on Arnold Schwarzenegger’s James Bond inspired turn in James Cameron’s True Lies. Big mistake.
Somehow Wonder Woman herself, Gal Gadot got mixed-up in this – presumably the hefty payday helped sway her.
As I said before – Dwayne Johnson is in the movie business to make money. He doesn’t care about the quality, he just cares about the amount of zeroes he can score on his next payday. His movies have nothing to offer to audiences other than soulless action and loud explosions
