English Teachers Rejoice At The New Trailer For MACBETH With Michael Fassbender & Marion Cotillard

Justin Kurzel’s Macbeth went down a storm in Cannes – and it’s easy to see why. This looks to be a very earthy adaptation of William Shakespeare’s classic tragedy and Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard seem to make a wonderful pairing as Macbeth and his lady wife.

I imagine schools across the globe will be picking up the DVD and blu-ray when this arrives on disc and download. English teachers will be thrilled to have a new version of the Scottish play to show students. I imagine copies of Roman Polanski’s ‘70s film are on their last legs.
