Fire-up the Barracuda, because Nash is coming to town. Don Johnson has stated that the Nash Bridges revival is currently in ‘heavy prep’ in San Francisco and reports suggest that filming will begin in May 2021.
Speaking on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Johnson said that the new 2 hour movie will ”find Nash some years later. And Cheech (Marin) is going to come back and join me and Jeff Perry. We’ve got a pretty exciting show that we’re prepping in San Francisco right now.” You can watch the full interview below.
Created by Carlton Cuse, Nash Bridges ran for six seasons and 122 episodes between March 1996 and May 2001. The new movie – which is potentially a pilot for a new series was announced for the USA Network, but there’s no word if that’s still the case.
