BLACK ADAM Trailer Offers More Of The Same – But Pierce Brosnan Adds A Touch Of Class

Does Movies In Focus want to watch Black Adam? No, not really, but I will watch it at some point. The simple reason is because the mighty Pierce Brosnan is in it. He adds a touch of class to what appears to be a standard superhero movie – only with added Dwayne Johnson (never a good thing).

Brosnan stars as Doctor Fate in the DC Comics movie, which also stars Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone and Aldis Hodge as Hawkman.

Scheduled for release on 21 October 2002, Black Adam comes from director Collet-Serra (who worked with Johnson on Jungle Cruise) from a screenplay by Adam Sztykiel and Rory Haines & Sohrab Noshirvani, based on a story by Adam Sztykiel and Rory Haines and Sohrab Noshirvani.

The synopsis:

Nearly 5,000 years after he was bestowed with the almighty powers of the ancient gods—and imprisoned just as quickly—Black Adam (Johnson) is freed from his earthly tomb, ready to unleash his unique form of justice on the modern world.
