Behind The Scenes: Luca Guadagnino Directs Armie Hammer & Timothée Chalamet On The Set Of CALL ME BY YOUR NAME

2017’s Call Me By Your Name is a coming of age drama that sees Armie Hammer and Timothée Chalamet forming a close bond over a relaxing summer in Italy and both actors offer-up fearless turns as young men coming to terms with their burgeoning romance. Director Luca Guadagnino creates a tremendous sense of atmosphere with his Italian locations and he’s aided by Sufjan Stevens’ wonderful dreamlike music.

Special mention must also go to Michael Stuhlbarg for his turn as Chalamet’s father. The film’s Academy Award winning screenplay by James Ivory is based on the 2007 novel by André Aciman

Call Me by Your Name scored $18 million at the US box office and $41.8 million worldwide.
