Amazon Knows JACK RYAN; New Show Based On Tom Clancy’s Character Heads Online

Michael Bay and Carlton Cuse’s new Jack Ryan series has landed at Amazon. The online company apparently does a good trade in Tom Clancy’s novels and the Paramount movies, so this move was a no-brainer.

This is a new contemporary take on the Clancy created character which has been played by Alec Baldwin, Harrison Ford, Ben Affleck and Chris Pine, which won’t be directly based on the best-selling novels. Nobody is the frame to star – but expect things to progress at a break-neck pace once Lost writer Graham Roland has completed scripts for the show which will go straight to series.
