Academy Awards 2022: A Full List Of Oscar Nominations

Jane Campion’s The Power Of The Dog leads the charge at this year’s Academy Awards. The Netflix western scored 12 nominations including Best Director for Campion. Campion is now the first woman to have been nominated for best director twice – having also been nominated for 1993’s The Piano. 

Denis Villeneuve’s epic adaptation of Frank Herbert’s Dune received 10 nominations while, Kenneth Branagh’s masterful Belfast and Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story both nabbed seven nods each.

Movies In Focus is getting behind Branagh’s Belfast – the best film of the bunch. It’s great to see that Van Morrison’s exceptional Down To Joy was nominated for Best Song.
