The gangster pic banked $1.7 million from 503 screens (for a $3,419 screen average) during its opening weekend but the reviews were woeful. The film’s marketing team have come out with all guns blazing in an attempt to make sure the Kevin Connolly film doesn’t sleep with the fishes. They fired-off the below Tweet, which has a video clip stating “Audiences loved Gotti…Critics put out the hit….Who Would You Trust More? Yourself or a Troll Behind a Keyboard’.
Somebody better keep a look-out at the toll-booth.
