WW84 Is On The Way

Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins and and DC Entertainment president and chief creative officer, Geoff Johns have kicked-started the hype for Wonder Woman 2 by dropping the above logo on social media. It seems to support the theory that this superhero sequel will jump the action from 1917 to the 1980s. I’m guessing 1984 in particular.

Gal Gadot is great as Wonder Woman – but unlike many, I was a tad disappointed by her first standalone adventure (read the Movies In Focus review). The last act in particular was a major bore – I’m hoping that this is rectified in the follow-up.

Wonder Woman 2 is giving for release on 1 November, 2019.
