World War Z was 1000 times better than it should have been. The Brad Pitt zombie movie had a troubled production but it turned out to be a highly entertaining flick. Who cares if it had little resemblance to Max Brooks novel. The 2013 movie scored over $500 million globally and now a sequel has been announced for 9 June 2017 (the same weekend as Fantastic 4 2). I’m digging the idea but I think they need to use the modern concept of adding a colon to the title rather than going for a numeric. No doubt they will.
J.A Bayona is directing and Steven Knight is writing the film which may see Brad Pitt return to fight zombies.
