Watch The Music Video For REACH From Bill Paxton’s Band Martini Ranch – Directed By James Cameron!

There’s a billion things which have passed Movies In Focus by – but I didn’t seem to know that the mighty Bill Paxton was in a band called Martini Ranch (alongside Andrew Todd Rosenthal) – and I definitely didn’t know that the band had a music video directed by James Cameron.

I discovered this while ploughing though the extras on the new blu-ray for Adam Simon’s 1990 horror, Brain Dead (which stars Bill Paxton). As you would expect from Cameron – this video for MartinI Ranch’s Reach looks great, filled with stylistic flourishes. It’s a great tune too. 

The neo-western themed video not only features Paxton, but also an amalgamation of casts from The Terminator, Aliens and Near Dark – Kathryn Bigelow, Lance Henriksen, Paul Reiser and Jenette Goldstein, Judge Reinhold, Brian Thompson, and Adrian Pasdar – as well as Paxton’s Brain Dead co-star Bud Cort.
