Warner Bros And Ben Affleck FOCUS On Kristen Stewart
The Twilight juggernaut is finally coming to an end for Kristen Stewart, so she’s trying her best to forge a career outside the Vampire-romance franchise. She’s taken on a variety of roles in recent years, but none have really set the world on fire, except maybe Snow White and the Huntsman, but that franchise looks to be on rocky ground due to Stewart’s off-set dalliances with director Rupert Sanders. However, things are looking up. The actress is in the frame to join current golden boy Ben Affleck in the Warner Bros. film, Focus.
Focus tells ‘the story of a veteran grifter who partners with a girl who’s new to the life’ – Crazy Stupid Love directors Glenn Ficarra and John Requa will direct their own script, while Denise DiNovi will produce. The film was supposed to reteam Ficarr and Requa with Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone (the pair are next seen in The Gangster Squad), but those plans fell through.
Affleck is on a hot streak following The Town and Argo, while he will next be seen opposite Justin Timberlake in the thriller Runner Runner. While, Stewart is now doing the press tour for the terrible looking The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2.
