Trailer: Steven Soderbergh’s Tech Thriller KIMI Starring Zoë Kravitz

In 2021 Steven Soderbergh delivered the all-star crime thriller No Sudden Move and now for 2022, the director has yet another film on the way (does he ever stop working?). KIMI is a tech thriller written by screenwriter David Koepp

Zoë Kravitz plays an agoraphobic tech worker who finds that a virtual assistant may have recorded a crime. She tries to report it to her superiors but there’s a conspiracy of sorts which causes bad things to happen.

I’m getting slight hints of Francis Ford Coppola’s The Conversation from this trailer, but you know that Soderbergh will have a few surprises lined-up to make sure that this is anything but a generic thriller.

Byron Bowers, Jaime Camil, Erika Christensen, Derek DelGaudio, Robin Givens, Charles Halford, Devin Ratray, Jacob Vargas and Rita Wilson co-star in KIMI which will debut online later in 2022.
