Starring Elena Anaya, Louis Garrel, Gina Gershon, Sergi López, Wallace Shawn and Christoph Waltz, the comedy follows a married American couple at the San Sebastian Festival in Spain. The pair get caught up in the magic of the event, the beauty and charm of the city and the fantasy of movies. Shenanigans happen.

This looks like Woody Allen doing what Woody Allen does best. Light and breezy, it should be an enjoyable ninety minutes at the movies – sign me up now.

Rifkin’s Festival is set to have its world premiere at the San Sebastián International Film Festival on September 18, 2020
