The Killing Joke: Jared Leto And David Ayer Offer A Peek At The Joker In SUICIDE SQUAD

When director David Ayer released the first photograph of his Suicide Squad, Jared Leto’s incarnation of The Joker was notable by his absence. Ayer wasn’t willing to disappoint and he soon followed the shot up with one of Leto. It’s an image that pays homage to the cover of The Killing Joke (see below), one of the great Batman stories of the 1980s.

This is a great way to play with interesting Batman/Joker iconography.
