Warner Bros.Pictures has confirmed that The Batman is back filming after star Robert Pattinson (allegedly) tested positive for COVID-19.
A spokesperson for Warner Bros. told Variety:
“Following a hiatus for COVID 19 quarantine precautions, filming has now resumed on The Batman in the U.K. “
News first broke on 3 September that filming on The Batman had been shut down after a member of the crew tested positive for COVID-19. The Matt Reeves directed production had only resumed filming following a shut-down on 14 March when the Coronavirus pandemic started to sweep the globe.
The Batman stars Robert Pattison, Colin Farrell, Zoë Kravitz, Paul Dano, Jeffrey Wright, John Turturro, Andy Serkis and Peter Sarsgaard. It is set to open on 1 October, 2021.
