Sooo…Deadpool is finally making it to the screen. Ryan Reynolds much be crossing his fingers that this works, as it’s his last legitimate shot at ‘proper’ movie stardom. This movie has been talked about since Deadpool made an appearance in 2009’s ill-fated X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
This shot is riffing on the infamous 1974 Cosmopolitan shoot that Burt Reynolds did (below). I don’t find either appealing but I do know that Burt Reynolds has more star quality on one chest hair that Ryan Reynolds does in his entire DNA.
