Notebook Reviews: STRIKING DISTANCE
Rowdy Herrington – 1993
Striking Distance is an enjoyable enough, if unspectacular Bruce Willis vehicle. It lacks spark and the workman like direction and flat script don’t make for much excitement.
The film has a few good moments but it’s not really in the Die Hard category. The cast is great though and Sarah Jessica Parker makes a good foil for Willis, but Dennis Farina and Tom Sizemore are criminally under-used.
Striking Distance is solid Saturday night entertainment, but it could have been so much more.
