Neil Marshall – 2002

Neil Marshall‘s directing debut, Dog Soldiers is an exceptionally refreshing slice of horror cinema. The set-up is classic: Zulu meets Aliens with werewolves – and the film is every bit as good as you would hope.

The cast is excellent (Sean Pertwee is fantastic), the script is funny and the pace is spot-on. It’s also scary in all the right places. Seek out Dog Soldiers now!
