Hulu has announced that Joe Carnahan’s Boss Level will arrive on the streaming service this March. With a stacked cast (Frank Grillo, Mel Gibson, Naomi Watts, Annabelle Wallis, Ken Jeong and Michelle Yeoh), Carnahan’s action pic has always been a tantalising proposition. Boss Level was expected in 2020 but the COVID-19 pandemic ruined that plan. Now it will finally arrive on Hulu on Friday 5 March 2020.
Joe Carnahan is a filmmaker with serious cajones, one who makes gutsy action movies with serious edge. I can wait to see what carnage he delivers aided and abetted with Grillo and Gibson.
Trapped in a time loop that constantly repeats the day of his murder, former special forces agent Roy Pulver (Frank Grillo) uncovers clues about a secret government project that could unlock the mystery behind his untimely death. In a race against the clock, Pulver must hunt down Colonel Ventor (Mel Gibson), the powerful head of the government program, while outrunning skilled ruthless assassins determined to keep him from the truth in order to break out of the loop, save his ex-wife (Naomi Watts) and live once again for tomorrow.
