INDIANA JONES 5 Shoots In April 2019. We Could All Be Dead By Then!

We all know that the fifth Indiana Jones film hits screens on July 10, 2020 (the day after Movies In Focus‘ 40th birthday – get your presents ready!). Now Steven Spielberg has announced at the Rakuten TV Empire Awards that the film will shoot in the UK in April 2019.

Here’s what he had to say:

“It’s always worth the trip when I get to work with this deep bench of talent coming out of the UK. The actors, and the crew, the chippies, the sparks, the drivers — everybody who has helped me make my movies here, and will continue helping me make my movies here when I come back in April 2019 to make the fifth Indiana Jones movie right here.”

That’s great and all – but it’s still a year away.

Harrison Ford will once again play our intrepid archaeologist, but I imagine Shia La Beouf (aka Mutt Langa aka Junior, Junior) won’t be invited to the party.

Indiana Jones and The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull didn’t get a lot of critacal love – but I frickin’ enjoyed it!
