Clip From ‘Rathergate’ Drama TRUTH With Robert Redford And Cate Blanchett

James Vanderbilt’s directorial debut, Truth is a top tier awards contender. It’s a ‘newsroom drama detailing the 2004 CBS 60 Minutes report investigating then-President George W. Bush’s military service, and the subsequent firestorm of criticism that cost anchor Dan Rather and producer Mary Mapes their careers’.

Robert Redford and Cate Blanchett lead an impressive cast that includes Dennis Quaid, Elizabeth Moss, Topher Grace and Bruce Greenwood. Here’s the first bit of footage from the film that launched at the Toronto Film Festival. Any political drama with Redford is worth catching.

Truth opens in the US on October, 16 2015.
