Box Office: Russell Crowe’s UNHINGED Scores $4 Million Debut In First Post COVID-19 Wide Release
Opening in over 1,820 screens in the US, the Russell Crowe starring thriller, Unhinged was the first wide release since the COVID-19 pandemic hit in March. Derek Borte’s thriller had long positioned itself as the first big post-Covid new release and it banked a decent $4 million over its first weekend.
Solstice CEO Mark Gill expects the film to gross $8 million in its first week and top-out at $30 million domestically (matching its budget). Unhinged will expand to more than 2,300 cinemas next weekend.
