Behind The Scenes: Michael Caine & Lewis Collins On The Set Of JACK THE RIPPER
Michael Caine and Lewis Collins took the lead role in Jack The Ripper, a highly entertaining 1988 TV mini-series about the infamous Whitechapel Ripper murders in 1888.
It’s is a handsomely produced mini-series, which creates some impressive tension across its 3 hour (and 2-part) running time. Caine is his usually charismatic self as Inspector Abberline, and he has a good foil in Collins’ Sergeant Godley.
The supporting cast is rounded-up with Jane Seymour, Armand Assante, Susan George and a host of familiar faces from British television. Jack The Ripper is like a good mystery book and once you’re hooked you’ll see it through until the end!
