Behind The Scenes: George C. Scott On The Set Of THE CHANGELING

Often cited as one of the great horror films of all-time Peter Medak’s 1980 release, The Changeling is one hell of a tense piece of cinema. George C. Scott plays the grieving composer who rents an old mansion only to discover that he’s not as alone as he thinks.

The Changeling comes with some excellent production design and visuals, while Scott gives a powerful performance as the father and husband on the edge following the death of his family. The shadow of The Changeling looms large on a lot other horror films – including M.Night Shyamalan’s 1999 blockbuster, The Sixth Sense.

Released in 1980, The Changeling grossed $12 million at the US box office.
