You Can’t Stop A Good Conspiracy: The Lone Gunmen Return For THE X-FILES Revival

The Lone Gunmen are back! Dean Haglund, Bruce Harwood, and Tom Braidwood are set to return as Fox Mulder’s conspiracy loving buddies in the new 6-part mini-series of The X-Files.

The trio got their own spin-off series in 2001 but the show (like the trio) met an untimely demise. The series only lasted 13 episodes, while the Gunmen bit the dust towards the end of The X-Files’ ninth (and final) season).

It seems this ‘event’ series is giving fans exactly what they want from The X-Files. Not only will David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson return as Mulder and Scully, but Mitch Pileggi reprises his role Walter Skinner and William B. Davis returns the mysterious cigarette-loving ‘Cancer Man’.
