Trailer & Poster: Jon Hamm Stars In CONFESS, FLETCH

Movies In Focus can’t wait to see Jon Hamm in Confess, Fletch. It looks like a movie which totally plays to my sensibilities. I’m a huge fan of Hamm since his Mad Men days and Fletch might just be another iconic role to sit alongside Don Draper.

The character of Fletch was created by novelist Gregory McDonald, and he previously hit the big screen in 1985 and 1989 with the mighty Chevy Chase playing the role. The first film, Fletch was fantastic – the second, Fletch Lives wasn’t.

This trailer looks great – as does the below poster. Count me in when Confess, Fletch hits U.S. cinemas, On Digital and On Demand September 16, 2022.

Roy Wood Jr., Annie Mumolo, Ayden Mayeri, Lorenza Izzo, with Kyle MacLachlan and Marcia Gay Harden co-star in the film which was directed by Greg Mottola.

The synopsis:

In this delightful comedy romp, Jon Hamm stars as the roguishly charming and endlessly troublesome Fletch, who becomes the prime suspect in a murder case while searching for a stolen art collection. The only way to prove his innocence? Find out which of the long list of suspects is the culprit—from the eccentric art dealer and a missing playboy to a crazy neighbor and Fletch’s Italian girlfriend. Crime, in fact, has never been this disorganized.
