Trailer For Season Three Of Nic Pizzolatto’s TRUE DETECTIVE

You won’t find a bigger True Detective defender than Movies In Focus. I adored the first two seasons of Nic Pizzolallto’s anthology series and both offered-up a freshness to the detective story, while also keeping the much needed genre touchstones.

I wrote a defence of the ridiculously maligned Season 2 – which somehow ended up on the IMDB message boards (remember those?). I was accused of being a HBO stooge – and even Nic Pizzolatto himself (a compliment if ever I’ve been given one). Those were the days.

I’m therefore hyped that the series is back – this time with the great Oscar-winning Mahershala Ali in the lead.
