Tom Cruise is hot-off the scorching critical and commercial success of Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation. He’s currently shooting ‘80s set thriller Mena (expect the title to change), and he has now lined-up a sequel to 2012’s Jack Reacher for a 2016 release. Ed Zwick will direct the adaptation of Lee Child’s Never Go Back, which Cruise will fit in before he shoots Mission: Impossible 6.
That’s a a whole of Tom Cruise over the next couple of years – and that’s no bad thing. Cruise is a dedicated actor who constantly delivers. Jack Reacher (which grossed over $200 globally) was a great, no-thrills action flick, the type they don’t really make anymore and a sequel is most welcome.
