Riverdance: The Animated Adventure is a whole new take on the musical dance phenomenon. Directed by Eamonn Butler and Dave Rosenbaum, the film has an original score from Grammy Award winning Riverdance composer Bill Whelan.
The animated film, which features the vocal stylings of Pierce Brosnan and Brendan Gleeson is coming exclusively to Sky Cinema and NOW on 28 May 2021.
The synopsis:
A young Irish boy, Keegan, and his Spanish friend, Moya, journey into the mythical world of the Megaloceros Giganteus, who teach them to appreciate Riverdance as a celebration of life. Inspired by the global stage sensation, Riverdance: The Animated Adventure features new music from Grammy-winning Bill Whelan, and an all-star cast.
