Prime Awards Date For The Michael Keaton/Mark Ruffalo Drama SPOTLIGHT

Spotlight, the newspaper drama top-lined by Michael Keaton and Mark Ruffalo has been given 6 November release date. This is a prime awards season launch and it bodes well for the film – and maybe it’ll give Keaton and Ruffalo the Oscar gold they missed out on at this year’s ceremony.

Spotlight tells ‘the story of the Boston Globe’s Spotlight investigation team, which reported the Boston Archdiocese’s cover-up of sexual abuse within the Catholic church’.

Rachel McAdams, Stanley Tucci, Liev Schreiber, John Slattery and Billy Crudup co-star in the Thomas McCarthy directed drama.
