Plot Heavy And Action Light Teaser Trailer For SPECTRE

The first teaser trailer for SPECTRE has dropped and it’s a low key affair that shows the movie is a direct continuation of Skyfall. The appearance of Jesper Christensen’s Mr White also connects it to Daniel Craig’s first two Bond efforts, Casino Royal and Quantum of Solace. It looks like SPECTRE has taken over the Quantum organisation – but how does all this connect to James Bond’s past?

There’s not action here – this is all plot, a brave move for an action blockbuster (I find it wonderfully refreshing). However, the James Bond movies have earned enough audience goodwill over the last 50 years and they don’t have to show money shots in the teaser.
