Notebook Reviews: THE PRINCE OF EGYPT

Brenda Chapman, Steve Hickner and Simon Wells – 1998

The Prince Of Egypt is an epic and entertaining animated feature with a tremendous cast of voices (Val Kilmer, Ralph Fiennes, Michelle Pfeiffer, Sandra Bullock, Jeff Goldblum, Danny Glover, Patrick Stewart, Helen Mirren, Steve Martin, and Martin Short!). Kilmer is the standout, but Goldblum delivers some astounding vocal work also. 

The animation is first-rate, and The Prince Of Egypt features wonderfully realised visuals. The ending is a bit on the abrupt side, but this is impressive nonetheless.
