New Trailer & Poster For Ben Wheatley’s Fantastic FREE FIRE

Movies In Focus recently caught Free Fire at Nottingham’s Broadway Cinema, where director Ben Wheatley was in attendance for a Q&A session. He talked about how it came together and the difficulties of making a film that’s basically one big shootout.

Wheatley’s pic is absolutely fantastic, delivering the goods in every way. It’s funny, thrilling and very violent. Everyone in the cast hits the spot (Cillian Murphy is great and Armie Hammer is a revelation). I’ll be knocking out a review soon, but in the meantime here’s the new quad poster and 60” Hard trailer.

Justine (Brie Larson) has brokered a meeting in a deserted warehouse between two Irishmen (Cillian Murphy, Michael Smiley) and a gang led by Vernon (Sharlto Copley) and Ord (Armie Hammer) who are selling them a stash of guns. But when shots are fired in the handover, a heart stopping game of survival ensues.

Free Fire opens in the UK on 31 March 2017.
