Francis Lee’s Ammonite will arrive on premium rental at home and all digital platforms on 26 March. Here’s a new clip titled, ‘Drawing’ from the period romantic drama which stars Kate Winslet and Saoirse Ronan.
Movies In Focus caught Ammonite at the 2020 BFI London Film Festival – and I wasn’t a fan, saying: ‘A dull and plodding affair, Ammonite follows a romance which fails to register any passion whatsoever. Kate Winslet and Saoirse Ronan work hard but they can’t bring life to this fossilised drama.’ You can read my full review here
