Jasmine Stodel’s documentary, Kid Candidate looks at the ‘only in America’ story which sees 24 year-old experimental musician, Hayden Pedigo run for a city council office role in Amarillo, Texas. The campaign happened after Pedigo’s Harmony Korine inspired spoof campaign video went viral.
Kid Candidate premiered at this year’s SXSW Film Festival to critical acclaim and it hits On Demand and Digital on 2 July 2021.
