Gordon’s Alive! Celebrate The 40th Anniversary Of FLASH GORDON In Style

Celebrate the 40th anniversary of Mike Hodges’ cult classic Flash Gordon in style with this cracking looking new release from Studiocanal.

Hodges’ Flash Gordon is a wonderfully executed piece of science fiction cinema which has become a cult classic since its release in 1980. The film will forever be known for a variety of reasons – from Brian Blessed’s bombastic Vultan (Gordon’s Alive!) and Queen’s infectious pop soundtrack to Gilbert Taylor’s lush cinematography.

The film is will play at Picturehouse Central in London and in select cinemas from 31 July, it will then be released on 4K UHD Collector’s edition, Blu-ray, Steelbook, DVD and digital on 10 August. The film will also screen as part of The Luna Drive In Cinema from August, with screening details available on their website soon. The pic will also be distributed by Studiocanal in France, Germany, Australia and New Zealand this Summer.
