Movies In Focus likes the look of Song To Song. The great music cut by Del Shannon adds some extra energy to this music drama starring Michael Fassbender, Ryan Gosling, Rooney Mara and Natalie Portman. Terrence Malick is getting a lot of flack for his filmmaking style recently, but I dig his meandering visual poetry.

This is set in the Austin, Texas music scene and if you’re eagle-eyed – you can also spot Val Kilmer in there too.
