Paul Thomas Anderson’s Inherent Vice hits the UK on 30 January and it looks to be a great convergence of everything the director loves – the ‘70s, Robert Altman and offbeat humour.
The adaptation of Thomas Pynchon’s novel has a starry supporting cast (Josh Brolin, Owen Wilson, Reese Witherspoon, Benicio Del Toro and Martin Short) but we all know this is Joaquin Phoenix’s show.
