Digital filmmaking, the internet and all the tools around them has led to millions of fan edits of all sorts of movies. Some of these have been great, while others have been pretty terrible. This 8-minute film takes Christopher Nolan‘s Dunkirk and turns it into a short, silent film. It’s an interesting piece, but you have to admit that the film’s real strong points were Hans Zimmer’s score and Hoyte van Hoytema’s cinematography.
Still, it’s worth watching, just to see a different take on Nolan’s work. Hats off.
