Trailer & Poster: Jesse Metcalfe, Chad Michael Murray & Bruce Willis In FORTRESS
Ageing action star Bruce Willis is back in DTV/VOD action cameo mode (is there any other mode these days) in director James Cullen Bressack‘s Fortress. It’s another thriller from prolific producer Randall Emmett – a man who has made produced over 20 movies starring Willis over the last decade or so.
Developed by Emmett and actor Emile Hirsch, Fortress is the first of a trilogy of films (it was shot back-to-back with a sequel) with screenplays written by Alan Horsnail. It looks like business as usual for the Bruce Willis/Randall Emmett partnership – and you know what that means.
Jesse Metcalfe, Chad Michael Murray, Kelly Greyson, Ser’Darius Blain, Shannen Doherty and Simon Phillips co-star in the pic which was filmed in Puerto Rico.
Fortress will be available in select US cinemas, on Digital and On Demand 17 December 2021 and arrive on Blu-ray and DVD on 21 December 2021.
The synopsis:
In this dazzling action cyber-thriller, Bruce Willis (Pulp Fiction) plays Robert, a retired CIA agent living at a secret resort in the woods. One day, his estranged son drives to the camp for a visit — but he’s followed by Robert’s old nemesis, Balzary (Chad Michael Murray, “One Tree Hill”). As the site is besieged by Balzary’s attack squad, father and son retreat to a high-tech bunker. But are its steel walls and advanced weapons powerful enough to match Balzary’s bloodthirsty plans for revenge?
