Trailer & Poster: Ben Affleck & Ana de Armas In Adrian Lyne’s New Erotic Thriller DEEP WATER
Deep Water is Adrian Lyne’s first film since 2002’s Unfaithful and this new Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas erotic thriller would appear to fit perfectly beside Lyne’s previous marriage in peril movies like Indecent Proposal, Unfaithful and Fatal Attraction.
Deep Water is an adaptation of Patricia Highsmith‘s novel of the same name and it stars Affleck and de Armas as a mistrusting couple who get caught up in a murder plot. The film will hit Prime Video in the UK and Hulu in the U.S. on 18 March 2022.
Filmed in 2019, Deep Water was originally set to be released on November 2020, but was delayed to August 2021 and then to to January 2022. Tracy Letts, Rachel Blanchard, Dash Mihok, Lil Rel Howery, Jacob Elordi, Finn Wittrock, and Kristen Connolly co-star.
The synopsis:
Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas star as Vic and Melinda Van Allen, an affluent New Orleans couple whose marriage is crumbling under the weight of resentment, jealousy, and mistrust.
