Trailer & Poster: Ana de Armas Is Marilyn Monroe In Andrew Dominik’s BLONDE
The full trailer for director Andrew Dominik‘s Marilyn Monroe biopic, Blonde has finally arrived – and it looks like the film is going to take awards season by storm. Scheduled to hit Netflix on 23 September, Blonde will premiere at the 2022 Venice International Film Festival.
Starring Ana de Armas and based on the novel by Joyce Carol Oates, the film takes a no holds barred look at the complicated life of Monroe.
Dominik is no slouch behind the camera (The Assassination of Jesse James is a modern masterpiece) and Ana de Armas scene-stealing turn in No Time To Die shows that she has charisma to burn. Movies In Focus is expecting serious awards gold for de Armas Dominik and Blonde as whole.
The synopsis:
Ana de Armas is Marilyn Monroe in Blonde, only on Netflix 9/23.
