It would seem that it’s 25th time unlucky for the latest James Bond adventure. Reports are swirling that Daniel Craig has suffered an ankle injury while shooting the 25th Bond movie, throwing the film’s schedule into chaos.
According to the ever-unreliable The Sun, a source allegedly said:
“He was sprinting during filming when he slipped and fell quite awkwardly. He was in quite a lot of pain and was complaining about his ankle.“
Craig has now apparently been flown to the US for medical treatment and filming on the production has been suspended. Apparently, forthcoming shooting at Pinewood Studios has been postponed.
It’s not the first time Craig has been injured on the set of a Bond movie and a release date has never been moved. Bond 25 has had a rocky preproduction but there is no word yet of whether the film’s April 8, 2020 will be met.
Time will tell.
