The JOKER Trailer Is Incredibly Well Cut; It Might Deliver The Goods
We don’t know if we really need Todd Phillips‘ Joker, nor do we know what it’s really about. However, this teaser trailer makes it look good. Really good in fact.
I know it’s very hard to judge a movie or a performance from a trailer – but Joaquin Phoenix looks like he knocks it out of the park with his turn as Arthur Fleck. If the movie holds its own (which remains to be seen), then he might just bag some awards gold.
Put me down as cautiously optimistic for this when Joker opens on 4 October 2019.
