STAR WARS VIII: The Force Awakens In Malin Head, Ireland
A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away Movies In Focus grew up in Derry, Ireland. Derry was as far away from Hollywood as you could possibly get and the city is just a hop, skip and a jump away from Malin Head in Donegal, Ireland’s most northerly tip. Now Hollywood and Star Wars has come to the area.
Mark Hamill, Daisy Ridley and Adam Driver have arrived in Donegal to shoot scenes for Rian Johnson’s follow-up to The Force Awakens. It also looks like the Millennium Falcon will be joining them. Security is tight, but locals are caught up in Star Wars fever. These pics give away very little, but it’s something!
