STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER Trailer: Kylo Ren Meets The Emperor

Movies In Focus is very intrigued and excited to see how J.J. Abrams concludes the Skywalker saga with Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

This new trailer might be short, but it packs-in quite a bit. The big thing is that we see Adam Driver’s Kyo Ren meeting Ian McDiarmid’s Emperor Palpatine. It’s an impressively well rendered piece of filmmaking and then it moves on to quick cuts from the film set to John Williams’ majestic ‘Duel of the Fates’. Abrams is going all-out on the visuals for this one.

When all is said and done, I’m a five year old again when it comes to Star Wars – and I don’t have a problem saying that.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker starring Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Domhnall Gleeson, Richard E. Grant, Lupita Nyong’o, Ian McDiarmid, and Billy Dee Williams hits screens on 19 December 2019.
