STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS New TV Spot And IMAX Poster; Running Time Revealed

We’re getting closer and closer to Star Wars: The Force Awakens and the marketing is slowly beginning to peak. Here’s great new TV spot and a new poster for the film’s IMAX release (check it out below). They’re clearly positioning Daisy Ridley’s Rey as the Luke Skywalker of this new trilogy and riffing on a lot of iconic imagery from George Lucas’ 1977 original.

The running time for J.J Abrams’ film has also been revealed – it will clock-in at 135 mins. this makes it the joint fourth longest film in the franchise (tied with The Return of the Jedi’s Special Edition).

Here’s a breakdown of the timings to all the films in the Star Wars saga:

The Phantom Menace – 136 mins
Attack of the Clones – 142 min
Revenge of the Sith – 140 min
A New Hope – 121 mins (Special Edition –  125 mins)
The Empire Strikes Back – 124 mins (Special Edition – 127 mins)
Return of the Jedi – 134 mins (Special Edition – 135 mins)
The Force Awakens – 135 mins
