SOUND OF METAL Gets A UK Cinema Release Date
The hugely acclaimed (and BAFTA and Academy Award winning) Sound of Metal will hit UK cinemas on 17 May 2021.
Riz Ahmed (BAFTA and Academy Award nominated) and Olivia Cooke star in the music-focused drama which was directed by Darius Marder.
The synopsis:
Ruben (Riz Ahmed) and Lou (Olivia Cooke) live together, traveling gig to gig playing their loud, frenzied music. Suddenly Ruben, a passionate drummer, loses his hearing and his world is upended, causing him to struggle with depression and be tempted by past addictions.
